India looks lovely! What was up with the shoe covers... did you really need them?

You're not allowed to wear shoes up to the Taj. You can either go barefoot (and scald your feet on the marble), or put on shoe covers. We were actually there early enough that we wouldn't have been scalded, but we got suckered into buying those silly things, so we wore them.

Hmmm, interesting!! If I ever get to india & the taj, I'll make it a point to go in the morning or evening to prevent the scalding!
